Born into a family of creative artists, Erik began his professional career 10 years ago as a self contained artist/producer on Sony's Columbia Records after being discovered by American Idol's Randy Jackson. Having broken his Sony contract Erik now records on his own independent label, Lifenotes Music.

His independent debut release 'Journey Back To Me' stays true to the roots of soul music while mixing the future of electronica coupled with poignant lyrics to form a fresh and unique sound. His sophomore release ' A Higher Frequency' continues to blur the lines between synth-based electronica and traditional soul.

Recent collaborations include DJ Spinna, Marc Mac, Ron Trent, Opolopo, Ty and YamWho?

Erik will be performing some brand new material with his full electronic set up accompanied by live percussion.
