The V.L.E ( Vick Lavender Ensemble ) was created with the full intention of bringing the live element back to the forefront of the Chicago music scene. The versatility of the band includes: Soul, Afro-Cuban, World as well as Afro-Beat.

Founded by Sophisticado Recording Label head, Vick Lavender; the band consist of Rick Gherenbeck on keys, Lamar Jones on bass, Joe Rendone on percussion, Clyde Davis on drums, Mike Levin on flute & saxophones, Chris Green on saxophones, & Craig Sunkin on trombone, with an array of vocalist including the powerful voice of Carla Prather, also Peter Jericho, Michelle Thomas, R.J Green, David Glen, & spoken word aficionado Sparrow will rotate on stage with the V.L.E, so please sit back and enjoy all that great music has to offer!
