Paul Trouble Anderson started playing during the era of the Sound System. As well as a Dj he was a soundman. In those early days Paul would follow Chicken, Scrap Iron and Fat Man around. Paul had a inherited a sound from his uncle: a reggae sound. That was converted in to a soul sound. They called it Troublefunk and this is where he acquired his nickname "Trouble". Around this time Paul met George Power, one of the founders of Kiss FM, who asked him to be a warm up Dj at several venues. Paul had a fresh funky sound and was playing at many clubs including The Maize Club at Ronnie Scott's, Bumbles and Red Box. With more and more work Trouble made Dj-ing his tull time career and started his own night at the Electric Ballroom. This was a Roller Disco night which took place three times a week.
